Alpaca fleece

As alpacas originate from the mountains in the Andes of Peru and Bolivia, their fleece is extremely soft and warm and makes a naturally elastic yarn well-suited for knitting.

Our alpacas are sheared once a year, usually in June. We will have particularly large stocks of fleece after shearing but may have some fleece throughout the year. If you are interested in purchasing any fleece, please get in touch. Prices vary depending on the quality of the fleece.
